My first job at Project Alba was interpreter between the farmers and the company's founders. Even though I did not feel really comfortable in this role, as it was the first time for me, I was very happy to do it since the first day because I discovered a new type of company such as Project Alba.In December 2011, I became a member of the staff as a Data Officer, and felt really proud to work for Project Alba. At that time, I promised myself to do as best as I can for the company and the farmers. Besides the fact that my background suited well, some of my strongest motivations were that I really wanted to work with farmers, to support them by helping them improve their income and their lives, to be in contact with people and I also hoped I could learn a lot from the company.
Two things that I really like about being a member of Project Alba is the way we work with farmers, and being able to see their smiles everyday. I feel like I can contribute to develop this small country. Sometimes, my work is difficult but I don’t want to give up and I keep trying to achieve what I can with the support of my team and the founders who encourage me a lot.
After a few months I became Team Leader for Production Team. Project Alba is the first place that allows me to show my ability and capacity. I hope that this company will grow very soon and can help many farmers in the countryside. I am really happy to celebrate my 1 year working in Project Alba.
